TREE TO ONE is a conceptual furniture project. It transforms an entire, roughly fifteen year old, pine tree into exactly one stool, with no added or wasted material. To that end the stools proportions are directly related to the dimensions of the tree while the design allows, through careful planning and technical ingenuity, reassembly of the tree in its new form without external connectors such as glue or screws. Despite natural variations in the trees, the resulting stools resemble a serialised industrial product.

ENGADIN is a family of shelves based around standard aluminium extrusions, offering elegant storage for books and belongings. Anodised inserts, commonly used for trailer wall panels, are framed by black or natural ash wood. Tilted side panels create a subtle stage for objects, bending geometric perception and drawing the eye in. Much like the engadin window, the shelf gently invites while clearly defining outside and inside space. The natural warmth of the wood contrasts with sleek extrusion and industrial precision. The shelves come in two sizes (e1,e2) and are flat-packed with a simple snap into place construction based on TENSO P14 connectors.

PETAL  is a multipurpose stool and side table made from lasercut aluminium sheets. It gets its name from the flower shape that provides the base for the seat. The stool is composed of three legs that can be cut in a pattern with a minimum amount of waste cut for better material economy. The legs are bent and rivited together and then slotted into each other. A round seat is then welded to the inside of the legs. The complex bend stabilizes the seat in itself via various tensile and compressive forces and allows the use of extremely thin and lightweight material. The stool supports up to 100kg of force at just 1mm thickness for the legs and 3mm for the seat.
